The Ohio Antique Boiler Operators Association Inc. is a non-profit association whose mission is to promote safety for operators of antique boilers--including steam traction and portable engines. The group's members include a wide range of boiler operators and owners from Ohio and neighboring states.

The OABOA is currently compiling a database of original boiler specifications. To view the archive, which will be updated frequently, click here.
The OABOA's work also includes a proposal to the Ohio Antique Boiler Board as it considers the issue of maximum working pressure guidelines for antique historical boilers. The proposal has received endorsement from the National Threshers Association, which conducts the oldest annual gathering of steam engine enthusiasts in the United States. The proposal will be voted on March 14, 2012 at the historical boiler board meeting in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
